We are seeking a full-time Web Developer to build web pages, web applications, corporate web sites, web-based software products, graphics and media content, or other software programs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Works within Taylor guidelines and development standards to ensure consistent, maintainable code.
Gathers feedback from design and technical staff, development supervisor on development needs.
Builds user interface applications and incorporates databases using various programming languages.
Authors complex web pages and software programs.
Assists in project planning and web site design and software development.
Creates prototypes and functional specifications for software projects.
Meets with development personnel on specifics of projects, new technologies, and deadlines.
Conceptualizes long-term needs of development, and plans and manages related projects.
Makes suggestions on creating web-based technical standards for specific web sites.
Requirements:
Knowledge of HTML, ASP, ASP.NET or related dynamic server side web page technology, JavaScript, CSS, and related products to create internet pages to meet internal business requirements Skill of object oriented design and web design Skill of development and testing of software applications Ability to calculate figures and amounts Ability to apply concepts of algebra and geometry Ability to solve practical problems Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Ability to use logical problem solving skills to find solutions
